The market has definitely slowed down, and the inventory has slightly increased.  One statistic that stood out when comparing the stats to May 2010, is that the homes that did sell, were MORE expensive and sold in fewer DOM on average.  The higher price tag also trends across contingent and under contract homes.  This is good news for the folks that are selling, and not marketing to first time home buyers.  I’m guessing the first time home buyers are maxed out at this point and scarce.
